Fastening fitting for signs or panels which can be mounted in posts or the like using double mounting, comprising a U-shaped member adapted so as to straddle the post and engage with a holder part 1 provided with fastenings for the signs or the panels, at least one tightenable clamping part bring about the secure retention of the fitting to the post. The novel feature is that the holder part 1 made in one piece has, on both sides of a central portion 5 provided with a U-shaped recess, projecting support edges 8 and lugs 10 provided with screw holes 11, which lugs are arranged at a mutual spacing and located in such a manner in relation to the support edges 8 that an interspace, adapted to receive an edge, a flange or the like 14 of a sign S, is formed therebetween, that securing screws 11a which can be mounted in the screw holes 11 of the lugs have a length adapted in such a manner that, when screwed in to the maximum, secure retention with a predetermined force is obtained, and that, next to the U-shaped recess 6, holes 7 are arranged, with which hook-shaped end portions 16 of the clamping part 2 engage when a screw 17a arranged in the curved central portion of the clamping part and with a limited displacement distance is screwed into engagement with the post S. <IMAGE> |
