PURPOSE:To consume a battery power source effectively by monitoring the battery voltage with plural voltage levels by a voltage detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A main battery 6 is provided with the voltage level detection part 17, composed of a voltage level L1 detection part 3, a voltage level L2 detection part 4, and a voltage level L3 detection part 5, as the voltage detecting means. When a print instruction is sent to a printer 2, the voltage level of the main battery 6 is detected at the start of printing and when the voltage is lower than the level L1 (7.2V), a message of a print error is displayed on the screen of an LCD 14 and not printed. Consequently, the portable terminal equipment can be used without paving attention to the consumption state of the battery power source at any time. |
