PURPOSE:To allow high-speed processing and the execution of building of a flexible system by converting image information by using the form attribute information of a transfer origin and the form attribute information of a transfer destination at the time of transferring the image information between processing means varying in the form of the image information. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of a central processing means (CPU) 11, a program memory 12, a reconstituting means 13, an image input means 14 handling a scanner 17, an image output means 15 handling a printer 18, and an image information storage means 16. The form of the image information is changed by the form of the image information of the detected transfer origin and the form of the image information of the transfer destination at the time of transferring the image information between the processing means varying in the form of the image information. This change processing is executed by as much as the set number of processing times. The transfer of the image information is processed at a high speed in this way and the building of the flexible system is executed.
