PURPOSE:To provide a subject device which is provided with a given roller positioned in the flying direction of unnecessary ink jet particles and prevents the formation of ink mist and keeps printing from being brought into disorder. CONSTITUTION:Ink jet particles jetted through a nozzle are charged and then deflected, and printing is performed on a recording sheet 6 with said printing ink jet particles 1. Unnecessary ink jet particles 2 which are not deflected thereupon are caught by means of a catching roller 10 turning in the same direction at the flying direction of said particles 2. Additionally, ink 12 adhered to the roller 10 are recovered in an ink pan 13 by means of a squeeze roller 11. |
