<p>PURPOSE:To attach a branch pipe firmly ion simple work without any fear of damaging a cable or the like to be inserted thereinto, by making up a projection along the circumferential surface of a through hole, at the top inner surface side of a saddle part, and forming the protrudent height of this projection into being more than the wall thickness of a main pipe. CONSTITUTION:A branch pipe joint is made up of forming a saddle part 21 and a branch pipe part 22 as one body, and a root of this branch pipe part depressed to an inner part of the saddle part 21, forming a projection 26 which is installed in an U-shaped form in a pipe axial longitudinal direction 26b from one side end 26a in the pipe axial direction. Then, a tip of the projection 26 is smoothly formed with a curved surface, while the protrudent height is formed into being more than the wall thickness of a main pipe 1, and it is constituted so as to be flush with an inner surface of the main pipe 1 or protruded from it. With this constitution, when a cable W is inserted through the side of the branch pipe part 22, such a fear that this cable W is rubbed by peripheral square part of a through hole 1A is brought to nothing, thus it comes into contact with a tip of the projection 26.</p> |
