PURPOSE:To provide the above outdoor unit fan for an air conditioner capable of reducing a fan load and capable of decreasing a fan noise by a method wherein a rotational shaft of an axial flow fan is inclined upwardly so as not to be crossed with a side surface of the unit and installed at an upper part of a main body and a heat exchanger is disposed at an opposite side of the axial flow fan in a semi- peripheral direction while being perpendicular to a floor plate. CONSTITUTION:A rotational shaft of a fan 1a is inclined at a specified angle toward a diagonal line of the subject unit in such a way as it may not be crossed at a side plate 3 or a side plate 4 of the unit and further the rotational shaft of the fan 1a is fixed at a specified angle toward an upper direction at a side opposite to heat exchangers 2a and 2b also in respect to a height direction of the unit. In turn, the fan 1 is fixed by a clamp 10 fixed to a motor 9 integral with the rotary shaft to a top plate 8 comprised of a bell-mouse 5 and held there. At this time, an air flow generated by the fan 1 enters from arrows 6a and 6b, passes through heat exchangers 2a and 2b, thereafter the air is regulated by the fan 1 and the bell-mouse 5 and then the air is discharged in a direction of arrow 7. Accordingly, the fan load is reduced and a reduction of fan noise can be performed. |
