PURPOSE:To improve the effect of a noise reduction duct by providing partition plates and an outer wall on which a noise reduction material is lined on its sides and changing the distances among the partition plates with the difference in the lengths of respective routes that are defined by partition plates taken in consideration. CONSTITUTION:A noise reduction duct consists of a cubic box which is partitioned by partition plates 2 that are bent at right angle to provide four routes. The whole inner wall of the duct which comprises the partition plates 2 are lined with a noise reducing material 4 to provide noise reduction effect. In a noises reduction cover 13 the main body 6 of a compressor, motor 8, cooler 10, etc. are provided and the outside air is sucked from the air suction port by the motor 8 and fan 9. The whole inside of the noise reduction cover 13 is lined with the noise reduction material. Although noises leak from the air suction port and discharge port, they can be silenced by the noise reduction material 4 inside the noise reduction duct. Noise reduction is provided on the side of the shorter route in the noise reduction duct 5 by reducing the area of the open port section for the shortness in the length of the route lined by the noise reduction material. |
