<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject ink composition, containing a colorant and a specific hot-melt resin, excellent in heat transferability at low temperatures and capable of providing transfer recorded images improved in scuff and blocking resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition containing (A) a colorant and (B) a hot-melt resin which is a resin, prepared by reacting (i) a copolymer of a styrene-based monomer, an acrylic or methacrylic acid ester-based monomer and a vinylic monomer having carboxyl group with (ii) a polyvalent metallic compound such as zinc oxide, composed of a low-molecular weight copolymer and a high-molecular weight copolymer and having >=7 ratio (Mw)/(Mn) of the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) to the number-average molecular weight (Mn) measured by a gel permeation chromatography.</p> |
