To make banknotes and securities safe from counterfeits it is suggested to use an embedded thread which has been printed with luminescent colours which remain colourless and transparent but results in fluorescence when exposed to UB-light. The thread is preferably painted in the three basic colours RED-GREEN-BLUE in the sections in which case the overlapping areas would appear YELLOW-PEACOCK BLUE-MAGENTA. |
