Suspension system for bicycle wheels - has rear stays with pivoted drop-outs

The system is for use on bicycles, with rear wheels, which are suspended on one or both sides from two stays. The stays (1) carry drop-outs (2), which are turnable about pivot axis (3). At least one stay is supported on the bicycle frame (4) in an elastic spring element (5). A Bowden cable (11) extends from one or both drop outs, to a changing-device (12). The two are connected, so that a movement of one drop-out causes a similar movement of the other one. USE - Esp. mounting bikes, to allow adjustment for uphill and downhill travel.
