PURPOSE:To achieve a high biodegradability and enable a spontaneous degradation in a relatively short time by stretching a sheet obtd. by melt molding a compsn. contg. a polyolefin resin, a specific filler, and other necessary additives. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin (e.g. PE) is mixed with 20-250 pts.wt. filler comprising 100 pts.wt. inorg. filler having a mean particle diameter of 5mum or lower (e.g. CaCO3) and 5-100 pts.wt. biodegradable org. filler having a mean particle diameter of 10-40mum (e.g. starch) and 0.5-30 pts.wt. additives such as a surface-treating agent, an antistatic agent, a plasticizer, and a lubricant. The resulting compsn. is melt molded to give a sheet, which is then stretched in an area stretching ratio of at least 1.5, giving a porous sheet having a moisture permeability of 0.7-3.2g/100cm<2>.hr. |
