PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition comprising a copolymer of ethyl acrylate, vinyl trichloroacetate, and n-butyl acrylate, having good adhesiveness to adherent, preventing the peel of the adherent from the interface of the adhesive, and suitable for adhesive tapes used for attaching moldings to automotive bodies. CONSTITUTION:The rubber composition comprises a copolymer of 100 pts.wt. of ethyl acrylate, 0.2-30 pts.wt. of vinyl chloroacetate, and 10-500 pts.wt. of n-butyl acrylate. The composition may be further compounded with acrylonitrile homopolymer in an amount of 1-30 pts.wt. (as the monomer) per 100 pts.wt. of ethyl acrylate monomer. |
