PURPOSE:To obtain the title foam of good moldability without detriment to initial flow by reacting a specified active hydrogen compound with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a halohydrocarbon blowing agent, a catalyst, etc. CONSTITUTION:A process for producing a rigid foam by reacting an active hydrogen compound with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a halohydrocarbon blowing agent and assistants such as a catalyst, wherein the active hydrogen compound partially consists of a compound having at least one of the same or different sec. amino groups and at least one carboxyl group in the molecule or its salt (e.g. glycine or alanine) is used. According to the above process, a rigid polyurethane foam of good moldability can be produced without detriment to especially initial flow. |
