A wall fixing plug is anchored in an undercut in a hole bored in a concrete wall by inserted in a pre-drilled borehole a threaded bolt with a conical head. A short drilling sleeve, sliding on the bolt, has slots in the forward half and the remaining fingers are lined with hard particles. When pressed on the conical head, a conical undercut is produced. The sleeve remains in the hole and the drilling adapter is replaced by a plain sleeve so that a nut on the threaded end of the bolt can be used to hold any component on the wall.
