PRODUCTION OF WATER-REPELLENT AND DEEP-COLORABLE FIBER STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber structure having excellent endurance as well as high water-repellent property and deep-colorable property by irradiating a fiber structure with ultraviolet ray and then treating the fiber structure with a fluorine based water repellent agent, etc. CONSTITUTION:A fiber structure such as sport clothing or uniform clothing is irradiated with ultraviolet ray (containing <=300nm wavelength ingredient) and then treated with a fluorine and/or silicone based water repellent (e.g. polypentadecafluorooctyl acrylate or dimethylpolysiloxane) to provide the objective structure.
