PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can prevent adhesion to the inside of an ink tube and can thereby prevent a failure to write at low temperature by mixing a specified base material, a gelling agent, an abherent and polypropylene grycol monoether. CONSTITUTION:A base material comprising a hardly volatile and/or nonvolatile organic liquid selected among hydrocarbon compounds (e.g. polybutene) is mixed with 1-20wt.% gelling agent (e.g. fine silica powder), an abherent (e.g. polyethylene glycol diisostearate), and polypropylene grycol monoether to give the title composition used for a ball point pen having an ink tube containing a water- base ink of a viscosity (25 deg.C) of 50-2000cP. |
