PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient backwashing effect throughout a filter body by fairing backwash gas flow when it passes through a porous plate by means of providing the porous plate between the end surface of the opening of a purifying gas passage of a filter body and a backwash nozzle, and dispersing it uiformly. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas passes through exhaust passages 102a, 102b from a diesel engine 101, flows into respective filter bodies 104a, 104b, and after fine grains in exhaust gas are captured here, it is released outside the system. Regeneration of filter bodies is alternately performed staggering time with respect to filter bodies 104a, 104b, for example, regeneration of the filter body 104a is performed by closing an on-off valve 109a, and releasing an electric driving valve 107a only for t2 seconds to jet pressurized air from a backwash nozzle 108a. In the purifier like this, porous plates 124a, 124b are mounted between end surfaces whereon cleaning gas passages of filter bodies 104a, 104b open and backwash nozzles 103a, 103b to rectify backwash gas flow, and makes it uniformly dispersible. |
