PURPOSE:To improve the resistance to yellowing and thermal stability by compounding a thermoplastic resin contg. titanium oxide with a phenolic antioxidant, a phosphorus antioxidant, and a metal carboxylate. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin contg. titanium oxide is compounded with 0. 001-0.5 pt.wt. (based on 100 pts.wt. the resin, the same applies hereunder) phenolic antioxidant, 0.001-1 pt.wt. phosphorus antioxidant, and 0.1-10 pts.wt. metal carboxylate. Examples of the carboxylate are stearates, palmitates, and naphthenates of Zn, Al, Ca, Ba, Mg, Cu, Pb, and Ni. |
