<p>A DC/DC power converter (M1) uses energy control that is linear and transcends the modulators by detecting the input power (Pi), the output power (Po), the lost power, and the power in the transients and utilizing a feed forward control algorithm. Parallel modulators (M1 and M2, M3) can be utilized to provide energy control wherein one path provides power directly to the load (Ro) to the extent that the input power is sufficient and the other path provides energy storage by storing power when the input power is sufficient and providing power to the load (Ro) when the input power is insufficient.</p> |
