PURPOSE:To obtain yarn subjected to fluorescent brightening treatment, slightly causing yellowing by pretreating polyamide yarn having an amino end group amount adjusted to <=a specific value with a white-based ultraviolet light absorber and dyeing the yarn with a fluorescent brighter of disperse type. CONSTITUTION:Polyamide yarn having an amino end group amount adjusted to preferably <=0.01mol/g is pretreated with a white-based ultraviolet light absorber emulsion and dyed with a fluorescent brighter of disperse type to dye the polyamide yarn with the fluorescent brighter, slightly causing yellowing. Combination of ultraviolet light absorbers having different maximum absorption ratios in the ultraviolet light range is preferable as the ultraviolet light absorber to absorb ultraviolet light in the whole ultraviolet light range. |
