PURPOSE:To permit the easy selection of a single locking and unlocking device between electrically live locking type and electrically live unlocking type, and reduce the cost thereof by combining the fitting condition of a spring mechanism comprising two springs with the fitting position of the coil section of a solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A spring mechanism 25 is constituted of the first spring 26 with one end fixed to a frame 8, and the second spring 27 coupled to a spring stopper pin 38. Also, the coil section 21 of a solenoid 20 is so positioned and fixed as to occupy either of two positions of advance and retreat sides. While the spring 27 is kept inoperative, for example, with both ends detached from spring stopper pins 28 and 29, a plunger 22 is energized forward with the spring mechanism 25, thereby obtaining an electrically live unlocking type. Also, the spring 27 is actuated, and the plunger 22 is energized in a retreat direction with the spring mechanism 25, thereby obtaining an electrically live locking type. A single locking and unlocking device is selected for use as aforementioned. |
