The neck plate is fixed to the outside of the femur by corticalis screws, fitting in holes along its longitudinal axis, while at the top a subtrochanter stem extends at an obtuse angle to this axis for implantation in the neck and if necessary in the femur head. The top part (20) of the neck plate (19) forms an integral extension (32), fitting against the outside of the trochanter major (17), with openings (33) for spongiosa screws (36) extending into the femur neck (12) or head (11). On the outside, the implant stem is smooth and cylindrical, having an external thread (28) at the end, by which it is detachably secured in a tapped hole (21) in the top part of the neck plate.
