A vehicle (1) has a loading space (2) for transporting objects, in which a conveyor track (7) is disposed in the top of the loading space, running in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle. A displacement element such as a pulley (8) is movable along the conveyor track, to which element gripping elements are coupled for gripping the objects. The ceiling (3) of the loading space and the conveyor track fixed thereto are vertically movable, so that during loading/unloading the vertical distance between the conveyor track and the floor of the loading space is greater than it is during transportation. In one embodiment the conveyor track (37) is movable in its lengthwise direction, i.e. during transportation, when the doors are shut, the conveyor track is situated entirely inside the loading space, while during loading/unloading the conveyor track can extend beyond the loading space. |
