PURPOSE:To enable various types of information corresponding to the operation mode of trains to be easily confirmed by providing a means for entering train operation schedule data, a memory means, a clock means and a current operation state generation means. CONSTITUTION:When the power switch 13 of a handy terminal 11 is turned on, an initial menu having the predetermined display pattern is shown on a display section 14 via a control section 21 and a display control section 23. The initial menu displays the names of trains corresponding to train information down-loaded previously from a host computer 12 to the handy terminal 11 and saved therein. In addition, the menu displays a message for specifying a desired train name, and a message for down-loading other train information. By operating a touch key 15, an instruction for down-loading data is issued from a keying section 15 to the host computer 12 via the control section 21 and interface 38. |
