PURPOSE:To uniformize the distribution of glass fibers and to increase the bundling force of the glass fibers by irradiating the glass fibers impregnated with an ultraviolet curable resin with ultraviolet rays to form a cured prepreg enhanced in void volume. CONSTITUTION:After a glass fiber mat is dipped in an ultraviolet curable resin component, the excessive resin component is squeezed out of the mat using a roll and a transparent film composed of polyvinyl alcohol is provided to both surfaces of the mat and the whole is cured in a plate shape by ultraviolet rays to form a cured prepreg enhanced in void volume. A raw solution of hard urethane is injected in this cured prepreg to be foamed to mold the prepreg. As a result, reinforced urethane foam filled with urethane foam in a form filling the voids of the cured prepreg is obtained. |
