<p>A thermal transfer recording medium comprises a substrate (2) and,laminated thereto, an ink layer (1) containing a sublimiation dye and a binder resin. The binder resin comprises (a) from 60 to 90 % by weight of polyvinyl butyral with a degree of polymerization of from 1,500 to 2,500 and a glass transition point of not lower than 70 DEG C, and (b) from 10 to 40 % by weight of ethyl cellulose with a glass transition point of not lower than 130 DEG C. <IMAGE></p> |
