PURPOSE:To contrive the mounting of electronic parts with an excellent degree of accuracy and at reduced costs by a method wherein a joint is formed between an electronic part and a preset pair of taping terminals by inserting the terminals of the electronic part into U-shaped notch parts and fastening the same thereto. CONSTITUTION:The terminals 12a, 12b, 13a and 13b of a push switch 11 are inserted in U-shaped notch parts 15b, 15c, 16b and 16c, respectively, and joints are formed therebetween by tightening the vertical flat faces 15d, 15e, 16d and 16e of taping terminals 15 and 16 in such a manner as to embrace the terminals. On account of the joints made between the terminals 12a, 12b, 13a and 13b of the push switch 11 and the taping terminals 15 and 16, the terminals having the free end parts can be eliminated and, accordingly, the push switch 11 can be automatically mounted with an excellent degree of accuracy. Since the terminals 12a, 12b, 13a and 13b and the taping terminals 15 and 16 are joined together near the bases of the former terminals on the push switch side, the strength of the terminal itself is not particularly needed and, therefore, the thickness of the terminal material can be reduced and the manufacturing cost of the push switch can be curtailed. |
