<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (X is O, CH2, (n) is 1, 2). EXAMPLE:5-(3-Methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienic acid prenyl ester. USE:A hepatopathy-treating agent. PREPARATION:A carboxylic acid derivative of formula II is condensed with an isoprenyl alcohol of formula III ((m) is 1, 2) and subsequently subjected to a protecting group-removing reaction to provide the compound of formula I. Or, an aldehyde derivative of formula IV and isoprenyl acetone of formula V ((p) is 1, 2) are subjected to aldol reaction and subsequently to a dehydration reaction and a protecting group-removing reaction to provide the compound of formula I.</p> |
