PURPOSE:To reduce pattern noise in a tire for long touring by opening and forming an inclination groove in which an angle for the equatorial plane of tire becomes smaller as it leaves from the central region at a tread end in the predetermined region of tread face. CONSTITUTION:Inclination grooves 7 in which an angle theta for an equatorial plane X-X is reduced as it leaves from a central region 2 is formed and opened at a tread end in a side region 6 which has about 1/4 width (W/4) of the width W of tread face of a tire which has main grooves 3 to 5 in the peripheral direction and auxiliary inclination grooves 8 in the central region 2 of a tread face section 1. At this time, the inclination angle theta for the equatorial plane X-X is set to 35 deg. to 55 deg. in the central region 2 and 15 deg. to 35 deg. in the part which is close to the tread end. Consequently, it is possible to ensure wet and dry performance and reduce pattern noise. |
