In order to clamp or to maintain a shoe (1) in an essentially fixed position, the shoe is at first pushed over a toe box or upper insert (11) of a shoe-holder (7) and then clamped by means of a clamping element (21, 25) on the holder. In order to allow a treatment to be applied to the shoe, a fastening device (31, 33, 35, 37) is provided for fastening the device to a fixed support, such as a table (41). |
