Laminated moulded objects having a base layer of thermoplastic material and one or more covering layers are produced by a moulding of thermoplastic material first of all being injection-moulded in an injection mould, and subsequently the lower mould half of the injection mould, with the still not solidified moulding located in it, being brought underneath an upper mould half of a compression mould, by which the covering layer is pressed against the upper side of the not yet solidified moulding and is laminated onto the latter.
