<p>Preheating device for a casting nozzle (2, 3) for a molten metal, comprising means for producing a hot gaseous medium (5) close to the inlet orifice of the casting nozzle (2), and means (6) for circulating the hot gaseous medium (5) in the casting nozzle (2, 3) over at least a part of its length and in the direction of flow of the metal during casting. These circulation means (6) may comprise a suction venturi whose convergent part is connected to the orifice of the casting nozzle (2, 3), in the extension of the latter, and the means for producing the hot gaseous medium (5) comprise at least one burner. The device preferably also comprises a sleeve (8) arranged around the inlet orifice of the casting nozzle (2, 3), in the extension of the latter; this sleeve (8) is advantageously provided with holes (9) intended to allow the hot gaseous medium (5) to pass through. <IMAGE></p> |
