PURPOSE:To prevent troubles in connection due to influence of curling tendency by forming of a preparatory beltlike start end positioning member which sucks and positions a start end part formed by cutting so that the start end part can be connected to a new terminal end part of a beltlike object. CONSTITUTION:A new terminal end part (d) of a beltlike object D obtained by cutting off a terminal part having a curling tendency is moved up to a lower part of a preparatory beltlike object D' which stands by on a suction plate 28 while being sandwiched at a prescribed position between a grooved rubber part 15a in a front surface of a pressing block 15 and a holding member 14. The new terminal end part (d) formed in the beltlike object D in use which is flowing is pasted on a cellophane tape T surface which is pasted on a start end part (d') at a lower end of the preparatory beltlike object D', whereby connection is completed. When this pressing is completed, a hand valve is driven by a vacuum releasing lever which is fixed to a guide rod terminal on this side of the pressing block 15, so as to interrupt that suction effect of a suction plate 28 of a preparatory beltlike start end positioning member 13. |
