发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF CERAMIC HOLLOW PIPE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic hollow pipe which is homogeneous and has high mechanical strength by a easy and inexpensive process, by a method wherein powder of a ceramic composition is melted, a ceramic solution is filled into a support pipe, the ceramic solution close to an inner wall of the support pipe is solidified in the hollow pipe, unsolidified ceramic solution is caused to flow out through the support pipe and a ceramic hollow body is formed. CONSTITUTION:Powder of a fixed composition consisting mainly of a superconductive composition is melted and a ceramic solution is prepared. The ceramic solution 2 within a crucible 1 is poured into a quartz glass pipe 3 whose both ends are open from a top opening end through decompressed suction and filled into the quartz glass pipe 3. The ceramic solution 2 cast into the quartz glass pipe 3 is solidified gradually from a part close to a quartz glass pipe wall by cooling. A low-viscosity unsolidified solution at the center of the inside of the quartz glass pipe is dropped and caused to flow out and a ceramic hollow pipe 2a is formed by either suspending suction in the middle of a cooling process or blowing air into the quartz glass pipe. The hollow pipe 2a is taken out by a difference between a coefficient of thermal expansion of the hollow pipe 2a and that of the quartz glass pipe and reheat-treated.
