PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of SN ratio by internally forming the control pulses transmitted to respective transfer stages of a shift register by the dummy transfer stage of nearly the same structure or the transfer stage of the front stage. CONSTITUTION:One stage of the dummy operating stage 60 of nearly the same structure as the structure of the respective transfer stages 6i (i=1 to N+1) is provided in front of the transfer stage 61 of the shift register. This dummy transfer stage 60 is driven by driving pulses phi1, phi2 like the respective transfer stages 6i (i=1 to N+1) and transmits the control pulses 8i synchronized with the driving pulse phi2 based on the control pulse 80 transmitted from the outside to the transfer stage 61. Then, the control pulses 8i to be inputted to the respective transfer stages 6i (i=1 to N+1) are nearly the same. The deterioration of S/N is prevented in this way.
