PURPOSE:To prevent a knockout pin from buckling by enclosing the tip part of a knockout pin with a buckle-preventing sleeve and a bush mounted on the opening part of its lower end. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic cylinder 2 is driven to lower a cylinder 13 and as the lower end of the knockout pin 16 is brought into contact with the upper ends of guide pins a pair of guide pins are pressurized simultaneously, lowered gradually and finally descended from the bottom surface of a multi-layer plate. In this case. the buckle-preventing sleeve 18 is arranged at the position which encloses the tip part of the knockout pin 16, a bush 19 is fitted to the opening part 17 of the sleeve 18 and comes in sliding contact with the peripheral surface of knockout pin 16 to prevent the knockout pin 16 from buckling.
