<p>PURPOSE:To effectly remove the stagnated air by finishing a washing stage for gas or simultaneously that for gas-water and, thereafter, lowering the water level in a tank near to the upper end of a packed bed or to the prescribed value by a water level lowering stage, and thereby degassing the gas stagnated in the packed bed. CONSTITUTION:In a washing method of a packed bed 5 constituted of a granular filler, a valve 16 for lowering water level is opened after finishing a washing stage for gas and/or simultaneously that for gas-water. The water level 18 in a tank 2 is lowered near to the upper end of the packed bed 5 or to the prescribed value by a water level lowering stage, and thereby the gas stagnated in the packed bed 5 is degassed. As a result, at a time for finishing air washing or simultaneous washing of air and water, the air stagnated in the paced bed is effectively removed and also outflow of a filter medium is prevented at this time of filtering and an equipment is miniaturized.</p> |
