PURPOSE:To automatically and continuously grind a large number of used fluorescent tubes to receive the ground material by a method wherein waste tube bulbs are received from a means for receiving waste cylindrical tube bulbs in an arranged state to be successively fed and supported by a receiving device to be ground while rotationally driven. CONSTITUTION:The used fluorescent tubes 5 received in a receiving means 25 are continuously fed in a state arranged side by side along a longitudinal direction by a feed means 26 to be fed in the feed region of a rotary feed body 28 one by one at a time through the fluorescent tube passing hole 18a provided to barrier plate 18. At this time, the rotary feed body 28 is rotationally driven in the direction shown by an arrow alpha by a drive part 30 and receiving devices 27 are also rotated in the direction shown by the arrow alpha while they supports the fluorescent tubes. The fluorescent tubes supported by the receiving device 27 come into contact with a fixed fin 29 to be ground to pieces to become a ground material 40. The ground material 40 falls along the outer peripheral part of the rotary feed body 28 to be received in a drum 35. |
