<p>PURPOSE:To accurately measure the temperature profile in the circumferential direction of the stock to be rolled during rolling by condensing the radiating light from the stock to be rolled with the optical transmission means set around the stock to be rolled, and transmitting this to the measuring means. CONSTITUTION:The frame body 1 on which the optical fibre 2 is arranged at four sides at the same pitch is set on the pass line of the wire rod S. The radiating light from the wire rod S is condensed with the microlenses set at one end part of each optical fibre, and transmitted to the CCD array 31 in the light receiving part 3 with the optical fibre 2. The received light quantity is transformed to the electric signal with each element of CCD array 31 and outputted to the arithmetric/display part 4. The arithmetric/display part 4 calculates the temperature, and collects the temperature data corresponding to each side of the frame body 1, and displays the temperature profile over all area in the circumferential direction.</p> |
