发明名称 ADSORPTIVE REMOVING AGENT OF LOW CONCENTRATION NITROGEN OXIDE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove nitrogen oxide contained in the ventilation gas of a road tunnel in low concn. by supporting vanadium on a carrier com posed of anatase type titanium oxide. CONSTITUTION:Vanadium is supported on a carrier composed of anatase type titanium oxide. The supporting amount of vanadium is pref. about 0.5-10% by wt. of an adsorbent as vanadium metal. Vanadium is generally supported by immersing the titanium oxide carrier in a solution prepared by dissolving a vanadium compound such as ammonium metavanadate in a proper solvent. After immersion, the adsorbent is separated from the solution to be washed and dried at about 100-120 deg.C in air. The shape of the adsorbent may be one having a large contact area and facilitating the passage of gas such as a columnar shape, a Raschig ring-shape or a honeycomb shape. As a result, nitrogen oxide contained in the ventilation gas of a road tunnel in low concn. can be efficiently be removed.</p>
