POWER AND CURRENT TRANSFORMER FOR METER

PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized and light-weighted metering outfit and to try the improvement of mechanical strength and electrical characteristics by providing a current transformer section sending the transformation signal of the primary high-voltage current as an optical signal to a low- voltage side and a capacitor-type potential device section feeding a bleeder signal as an optical signal by an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A high-voltage head tank 2 is provided with a current transformer CT section 10 which obtains a power source from the primary high-voltage current and sends the transformation signal of the primary high-voltage current as an optical signal to a low voltage side by an optical fiber OF and a rack 6 is provided with a capacitor voltage divider and a potential device PD section 30 which feeds the bleeder signal as an optical signal by the optical fiber OF. In this composition, in the CT section 10, a CT section 10A at a high-voltage side and a power CT12 and a detecting coil 11 are accommodated in a tank 2 and the optical signal is fed to a low-voltage side through the optical fiber, OF16. Meanwhile, the PD section 30 is connected to the capacitor voltage divider at a low voltage side from a high-voltage conductor 5 in the tank 2 through a high- voltage signal wire 5A and the voltage bleeder signal is converted into the optical signal in a PD section 30A at a detection side in the rack 6 for optical signal transmission. In this way, a miniaturized and light-weighted meter outfit is available and mechanical strength and electrical characteristics will be improved.
