PURPOSE:To allow mounting of a remote controller for AV apparatus, etc., at an arbitrary place and to improve operability by forming the light receiving part of an IR remote control as an independent unit contg. a power source as well. CONSTITUTION:The IR light receiving device 20 is constituted as the independent unit contg. the power source 21, such as battery. An IR signal 3 transmitted by an IR remote control transmitter is converted to an electric signal by a light receiving part 4 when the IR light receiving device 20 receives this IR signal. A light emitting part emits light to inform to a user that the IR signal is received when this part receives the above-mentioned electric signal. The IR light receiving device 20 can be freely mounted at an arbitrary place by means of a magnet, double-coated adhesive tape, etc. |
