PROTECTION OF METALLIC COPPER FROM CORROSION

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce an oxide film by a heat treatment at low temperature and thereby prevent corrosion without damaging the color of copper by a method wherein calcium ions are implanted into a copper surface and the surface is heated to a temperature of 300-500 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:The calcium ions are implanted into the copper surface by an ion implanting device and the surface is heated to a temperature of 300-500 deg.C, so that the copper oxide film is produced on the surface without loosing the natural copper color.
