<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time by connecting receivers to element antennas, and providing a buffer memory and a beam forming circuit so as to obtain many reception beams in time division during one PRI. CONSTITUTION:An array antenna 17 receives the reflected signal from an object and outputs it to receivers 4 via a duplexer 2. Individual receivers 4 amplify, detect and digitize inputted reception signals and output the reception digital signals to a buffer memory 18. The reception digital signals are outputted to a beam forming circuit 19, the inputted reception digital signals are Fourier- transformed, and multiple pairs of reception beams Bj1, Bj2 with different elevation angles for each azimuth direction thetaj radiated with the sub-pulse are formed during one PRI. A mono-pulse calculating circuit 20 and a signal processing unit 5 perform the same processing as an airborne radar device to detect the elevation of the object.</p> |
