PURPOSE:To aboid learning in a range where information detecting accuracy is bad by setting specified restriction in a learning range by a restricting means based on the variation of an operation variable when a specified operation is manually performed to set a photographing condition. CONSTITUTION:When a release switch S2 is turned on, the learning about zooming is performed by a microcomputer muC3 in a card. In the case that a sport card is used, for instance, the result of the learning is stored in an E2 PROM incorporated in the card as deviation DELTAf from the zoom program line of an original, and the deviation DELTAf is changed based on the variation DELTAf1 of the focal distance by the zooming by the manual operation. However, the restriction is set in the range of the learning about zooming, and whether or not the newest focal distance at the time of photographing by a camera is within a specified range(enclosed by a broken line) is decided before changing the deviation DELTAf; the deviation DELTAf is changed only when it is within the specified range, and the learning is not performed when the deviation is so large. |
