<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate useless power consumption from a keyboard controller by ceasing scanning during depressions of a push-down switch and making the scanning start when the switch is newly depressed. CONSTITUTION:When this keyboard controller 2 starts scanning by means of a scanning line 3, a depression generation detecting section 7 detects the depression information of a push-down switch 5 composed of the matrix 6 of input lines 4 and scanning lines 3 to the controller 5. Then the controller 2 is set to a ceasing mode by eliminating the scanning during the depressions of the switch 5 and starting the scanning when the switch 5 is newly depressed. Therefore, the power consumption of the controller 2 can be reduced.</p> |
