PURPOSE:To prevent an unqualified person from using illicitly an information processor while a qualified operator is absent by carrying out again an illicit use inhibiting means after detection of the presence or absence of the operator in his/her seat and with input of a detection signal showing the presence of the operator after an absence state. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 6 is provided at the front of a terminal and emits the infrared rays, and a light receiving element 7 detects the light emitted from the element 6 and reflected by an operator. Then an operator presence detection circuit 8 containing both elements 6 and 7 sends an interruption signal to a processor 1 when a detection signal showing the absence of the operator is received from the element 7 in an active state of an information processor. Then the illicit use of the information processor is inhibited when the signal showing the presence of the operator is inputted after the input of the interruption signal. Thus it is possible to reconfirm an identification number when the operator is present again in his/her seat and to prevent such an inconvenient case where an unqualified person operates the processor while the qualifies operator is temporarily absent. |
