PURPOSE:To prevent developer from adhering to a bristle cutting plate or a partition plate and to improve the stability of a toner concentration detecting sensor by attaching the toner concentration detecting sensor to the bristle cutting plate or the partition plate, and coating the bristle cutting plate or the partition plate to which the toner concentration detecting sensor is attached with a synthetic resin layer whose surface is smooth. CONSTITUTION:A bristle cutting part 3a is formed at the end of the bristle cutting plate 3, which is made of metal such as aluminum alloy, on a developing sleeve 2 side, and a film 4 being the synthetic resin layer which is made of polyethylene and whose surface is smooth is attached to the surface of the plate 3 to which the developer contacts with adhesive. As to the toner concentration detecting sensor 5 for detecting the change of the magnetic permeability of the developer which is attached to the plate 3, its detection surface 5a penetrates the plate 3 and the film 4 to appear. Therefore, possibility that the developer adheres to the bristle cutting plate or the partition plate becomes small, and almost all the quantity of the excess developer obtained by bristle cutting smoothly flows in a state where it is successively pushed and passes the detection surface of the toner concentration detecting sensor. Thus, the toner concentration detecting sensor 5 always stably outputs a signal. |
