PURPOSE:To efficiently generate a document in which working or the language of the ending of a sentence is standardized by registering previously a character string for conversion common to under-mentioned plural KANA (Japanese syllabary) character strings, and displaying most preferentially the common character string in the case that plural KANA character strings designated beforehand are desired to convert into the common character string. CONSTITUTION:A means 8 to register the character string common to the predesignated plural KANA character strings, and the means 3 to display this common character string for conversion as the most preferential converted candidate when one of plural KANA character strings is inputted. Then, when one of the predesignated plural KANA character strings is inputted, the character string for conversion registered in common to these plural KANA character strings is displayed as the most preferential converted candidate. Accordingly, even if the KANA character string is inputted while the working in the sentence and the ending of the sentence are not standardized, the character string for conversion common to those can be displayed. Thus, the optimum wording or the optimum language can be easily selected, and the document of good quality can be efficiently generated. |
