PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in input/output capacitance due to effects of a package by providing a memory array and peripheral circuits separately so that different peripheral circuits can be used for different packages. CONSTITUTION:A memory array section 1 and peripheral circuit sections 2 are separately provided. The memory array section has signal terminals in the form of projections, while the peripheral circuit section has signal terminals in the form of recesses. The memory section and peripheral circuit sections are stacked for interconnection so that signal can be transferred between sections. The peripheral circuit sections are different for different packages. This constitution saves layout spaces and suppresses input/output capacitance. |
